Why did Khloe Kardashian go to jail?

Khloe Kardashian was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) in 2007 in California after she was pulled over by police and failed a series of sobriety tests.

The TV star was initially ordered to do community service and complete a course in alcohol as her punishment.

She fulfilled her community service but ended up violating her parole by missing some classes due to her busy schedule getting in the way.

Khloe was later sentenced to 30 days in prison and had to complete an alcohol rehab program.

How long does Khloe Kardashian spend in jail?

While Khloe was supposed to spend 30 days in prison, the actual time she spent behind bars was much shorter.

Khloe actually spent less than a day in jail and was released less than three hours later due to overcrowding.

It is not uncommon for prisons to release nonviolent offenders if they run out of space, however, Khloe’s representative confirmed that she is willing to serve her full sentence.

Her agent said at the time: ‘Khloe is ready and willing to serve her sentence, no matter how long or where, and this has been settled. “
