TikTok star Katelyn Ballman has passed away at the age of 27, as friends and family members pay their respects to the mother-of-four.
News of Katelyn’s death was first announced on Facebook by Saundra Mae-Lynn, who identified Katelyn as her niece.
‘She was fun, funny and a loving mother. I don’t hear from her often but she called once. As far as I know there is nothing on the cause of death,” added: “Bless her and her family…”
TikToker, who goes by the name itkatieeebee, has amassed more than 75,000 followers and 1.5 million likes on the video-sharing site, giving followers a glimpse into her life with her husband, Josh Wurtz and her four children.
Her last video was posted on September 29 with the caption ‘Literally at the shuttle school’, accompanied by an online obituary revealing that it was the same day she died, although her cause of death She has yet to be revealed.
It read: ‘Katelyn Wurtz (nee Ballman), 27 years old, of Cheviot, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 30, 1994 to Peggy Ballman.
‘Before the death of her mother, Peggy Ballman, grandmother, Hattie Ballman and sister, Larhnoda Vohl.
‘Katelyn is survived by her beloved Husband, Josh Wurtz; parents, Fred (Brenda) Herbers; children, Anabelle Pastrimas-Wurtz, Braxton Wurtz, Owen Ballman, Easton Ballman,’ as well as several other siblings and family members.
TikToker friend and colleague Allison Burton, who came across italietaylor, shared a collage of the two of them together, telling her followers: ‘My best sister, friend my best, my everything is now in heaven.
‘I can’t seem to understand why her? My heart is breaking Katelyn.. please take care of the baby, family, friends and me cause I need it more than anything right now. I love you so f**king much Katelyn. ‘
Katelyn’s mother-in-law Kim Williams-Wurtz shared her own tribute, adding: ‘I’m writing a post tonight that I never thought in a million years I would have to write.
‘My precious, beautiful, loving, compassionate, kind, happy, cheerful and much more daughter passed away suddenly yesterday.
‘God truly bless our family with this Lil who spewed the fire that has come to our family with so much love and compassion and never looked back. She loves Josh Wurtz with an unconditional love.
‘Katelyn Wurtz has helped heal Josh’s past hurt and pain and has caused and taught him to love again. HE LOVES MY WOMEN AND SHE LOVES HIS MEN! I never dreamed that God would bless me with such a wonderful and loving daughter-in-law, but he did with Katelyn.
‘This girl loves her wholeheartedly. When she hugs you, you know that you have been loved and deeply loved. Our lives will never be the same. There will always be a hole. ‘
