Police outside Carl Woods’ home after Katie Price allegedly assaulted at house

Police are said to be gathering outside the home of Katie Price’s fiance Carl Woods, after she was allegedly assaulted.

The 43-year-old was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning, following an alleged incident at a property in Essex.

A man was later arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody.

The mother of five people suffered facial injuries in the incident but has yet to speak publicly.

Earlier today, two police cars were seen parked outside his home.

At one point, the image of an officer is walking down the driveway.

The investigation is ongoing, with an Essex Police spokesman telling Metro.co.uk: ‘We were called by colleagues in the ambulance service to reports of an attack in The Meadows , Little Canfield, shortly after 1:30 a.m., Monday, August 23.

‘We arrived and found a woman with a facial injury that had to be treated at the hospital.

‘A man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He is still in custody. ‘

No further information has been released, but a witness told The Sun that Katie was being treated for suspected fractures of her jaw and one eye.

The alleged incident happened just hours before Katie shared a sweet family photo of her daughter Bunny on her Instagram page, as she cuddled up with her dog, Buddy.

In the caption, I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! the star said: ‘Sorry we’re messing up Carl’s house, but how lovely Bunny looks with Buddy.’

Portraits of the former glamor model can be seen hanging behind the youngster, with a drawing showing the pair posing together on their joint Adventures page.
